Personally I think R&B is worth the money as i’ve shoes from there that are years old.

Hmmm thank you for the suggestions, what I like about the R&B ones is the shape on the ankle - very narrow and fitted.

@twosoups1972 I bought these boots in leather last year, for exactly the reason you like them - the narrow ankle. I have very skinny ankles and these were the only ones I could find which I could wear under skinnies, or slim legs and not look like wearing short wellies.

I've just started wearing them for the second year, I do look after and polish all my shoes, but even so these are like new. I'd really recommend them if you can stretch the budget...buy cheap, buy twice remember!!

R&B sales are pretty rubbish, usually only random colours and trend led lines. I think these may be part of their running collection as I’ve seen them for a couple of years already. Your suede version may be seasonal though and may go in the sale? Otherwise start eBaying and save up!

Any good OP? not quite the same but look reasonably slim. I prefer the R&B ones and have the exact same issue finding slim boots but i just couldn't bring myself to spend £300, suede always scuffs in my experience anyway.

Esther Walker from The Spike was raving about them a month or so back and I distinctly remember her saying that they were neat on the ankle cos she has skinny ankles and normally those boots look welly like on her. Might be worth a look.

I had a very similar pair from Clarks a few years ago - have you looked there?

Thanks.have checked out these suggestions but they’re not quite right. I like the heel on the R&B ones, just the right height. And they still look quite elegant in spite of being biker style.
