In just over a years time, I get married. And I look haggard

I will be 39 and look twice as old.

I'm not putting myself down, it's being realistic. I'm approx 5 stone over weight and at 5ft2, am short and stocky.

My skin is grey and lumpy with deep wrinkles and bags round the eyes. My top lip disappears when I smile. I'm missing teeth due to an accident.

My hair is frizzy and dry and I have psoriasis so have bald patches at the hairline.

Despite all of this, he still wants to marry me which is great but how can I present myself like this? I'm not photogenic in the slightest.

Is there time? Can I reduce or reverse these wrinkles and bags? I've an appointment to get teeth sorted but it's all well and good to have nice teeth if I look a wreck.

Any recommendations, I'm open to, lasers, lotions, potions, the lot

I feel your pain- I’m getting married in 3 months though so got much less time to do something about it. To add to my woes a patch of hair has started growing under my chin. Watching for tips

Thanks all, I'm excited but bricking it. I'm not the most confident in the world as it is.

I'm def on a mission to lose weight. I find giving up crap food harder than when I gave up smoking.

Water is also something I don't drink enough of.

Congrats IMissGin! Not long to go for you!

Have your makeup done professionally, with a practice run before hand so you can make sure it’s exactly how you want it.

For skin care environ facials and home skin care range alongside their multi vitamins I have been using it all 6 months now and my skin and hair has got so much better. It can’t be brought online and is only done/sold by beauty therapists. And is not to badly priced either.
