Where do you store your handbags when not in use?

I've got a few (too many!) bags. They are under the stairs, in my bedroom and there are also two residing on the spare chair at the kitchen table. I want to get my act together a become more organised.

Where do you keep yours?

In a glass fronted IKEA storage unit in my spare room .

Great question. Mine are slung at the top of my wardrobe, it’s a wholly unsatisfactory storage solution. Ideally I’d have hooks to hang them from

In a large plastic crate at the bottom of a cupboard.

On the shelf in the top of my wardrobe.

Hanging in the wardrobe

Hanging in the wardrobe on a sturdy wooden hanger from shortest strap to longest. Take up very little room. Although I did see someone on a decluttering show using shower curtain hooks to hang them on a rail. Thought that was quite clever.

I have a beautiful coat stand in the corner of my bedroom (and also one in the spare room 😳) that I hang bags (either from straps or in their dustbags) and belts from...

Stored and packed in their dust bags and then put in their boxes in my dressing room.

4 x 4 white oak veneer kallax unit, each with its dustbag folder underneath and matching accessories

I have one handbag.

One on top of the wardrobe, one one the back of the couch the rest all in a holdall bag

None of them are worth any money though so no dust bags needed!

Handbags have a hierarchy in this house.
Every day bags go on hooks in the cupboard under the stairs.
Evening/clutch bags inside a longchamp weekender in the spare room and the "big dogs" as DH calls them are stored in their boxes and dust bags at the top of my wardrobe.

It's all looking a bit messy and disorganised just now so I'll need to ask my husband to help sort them all out.

I have Ikea Fintorp rails on a wall with hooks and they hang from that. Thanks Pinterest!

Great thread! I keep mine in their dust bags on a shelf inside my wardrobe but it’s hard to find the one I’m looking for.

I’ve added a photo of the one in the bedroom but it’s not a good photo, looks better in real life.

Coat stands let you store lots of bags and scarves in a small space without damage.. I spend a lot on bags and scarves 😬

Under the bed. It's one of those lift-up storage ones so they can be chucked in with relative abandon and it's all tidied away.
