Purse/card holder/wallet. What do you have?

Hi I'm just looking for ideas on how best to carry my phone, my cards and some money with me when I go out. I don't always take a handbag preferring to go light.

I've just changed my phone case and it had compartments for holding 3/4 cards and I could tuck a few notes into it too. It meant that I could carry my phone, money and some cards in my pocket. My other less used cards I carried in a purse in my handbag.

I became a bit worried about people being able to read my cards when they're in my phone case so decided to look for a card holder cum purse or wallet that's small enough and easy to zip into my pocket when I go out. I like soft flexible leather or fabric and not hard bulky purses
Any ideas, please

Sorry, no advice on actual accessories but wondering if you might prefer using Apple/android pay?

You basically link your online bank/credit card accounts to your phone, and use your fingerprint or passcode to pay as you would with a contactless card, but without the £30 limit.

I find it so much easier.

I use this and love it, lots of compartments. I don't like the phone case wallets because I worry that if I lose it, I've lost everything!

I have this and really love it. Like you I like to travel light. The band adds a bit of friction so cards won't slip out of your pocket.

Phone cases - the fold over types are very mumsy. You probably text with your forefinger too

I have a SnakeHive iPhone case which is also a card holder. It's real leather and fantastic- I haven't carried a purse since I got it.

This would be small enough for cards and a few notes and it stop cards being skimmed.

Iv got a couple and it's quite handy.

It won't hold your phone obviously but you could get a smaller cover for it.

I would just get a very small handbag with a long strap. I have one like this (but cream). Small enough not to get in the way. Not going to lose your phone out of your pocket.

It's got a card lining and is a real favourite as I use it as a clutch as well as a purse. I have the bright pink but there are other colours and a slightly more structured version the Bertie.

I have one of these and it’s brilliant.
Holds several cards very securely (and blocked from readers), and also has space for some notes, and another space for driving licence/ticket/travelpass.
The dcs bought one for dps birthday, and I was so impressed I bought one of my own for when we went on holiday. Fits into pretty much any pocket, and feels really good quality too.

I have a soft coin purse I chuck my cards in to and I use a small cross body bag (purse size) when I'm going out light but coin purse could fit in to a pocket

On days I'm nipping to the shops I put phone in one back jeans pocket and card in another

We got our ones from an independent menswear shop in the town where we live. Dps is black, and mine is gold.
If you go to the website it should show you the nearest stockist to you, I think.
I really do recommend them!

I have a card holder that I can stick a few notes in, as it has a big wallet style pocket behind the card slots. It’s a Paul Smith one I got off eBay ages ago.

I also have a purse for change, but that usually stays at home.

I have a YSL card holder. I keep 3 bank cards, my license and Oyster card (with room for more) Has an internal slot which can store notes, change, train tickets receipts etc

I then have a LV key holder for my car/house keys. I also double this up as a cash holder for notes/coins as it has a zip.

I have a secondary LV card holder, it’s useful for store cards/gift cards. I don’t bring this everywhere, only when I’m going shopping. This means that I can keep my YSL card holder in good condition as it’s not worn out with surplus cards that I rarely need, and I’m not cluttering my bag either.

I have this Mulberry zip around card holder it's really handy if I'm dashing to the shops or I can put it in my coat pocket if heading to the pub etc and don't want to lug my bag around. It doesn't have a mobile phone holder though..
