I'm on a huge mission to save as much ££ as poss. Does anyone have any recommendations for decent(ish) but very cheap foundation?
I am thinking - Boots Natural Collection, or Poundland or anything along those sort of price points!! ?
Thank you!

Have you looked at The Ordinary?

bobstersmum · 07/11/2018 12:06

Rimmel wake me up or Rimmel match perfection are good for very cheap, usually 4.99 in bodycare or 2 for less than 10 in other shops.

I picked up some foundation in Primark the other day - £3, good range of shades. It's their matte foundation.

Well it's bloody brilliant; I use it instead of my usual Smashbox now, I love it! Lasts all day and isn't drying at all (and I have dry skin).

saganorenscarandcoat · 07/11/2018 12:11

Primark !!! It's the best!

moredoll · 07/11/2018 12:15

Primark PS Pro

I swear by the Ordinary and I'm a foundation addict! My favourite is Estée Lauder DW but I can't use it everyday as it blocks my pores but The Ordinary coverage foundation is the next best thing, really good coverage for the price.

Amazing ideas, thank you everyone, I will definitely look into all of these :) x

Does the Primark matte foundation make your skin look a bit flat or heavily made up?

Beautifullymixed · 07/11/2018 19:41

Maybelline fit me matte and poreless.
Not cakey, dry or overly matte, but natural looking, and surprisingly light (although buildable).
I love it!

Beautifullymixed · 07/11/2018 19:42

Ps. The maybelline fit me concealer is ace too - and a fiver!
The matching pressed powder is not bad either. Real bargains.

Beautifullymixed · 07/11/2018 19:46

Revolution stick foundation.
From Superdrug.
Blends beautifully, and gives good coverage.
You do need a primer, and to set with powder afterwards, but it covers my red acne marks very nicely indeed.

OHolyNightOwl · 07/11/2018 19:47

Revolution Fast base foundation stick. It's only a fiver and really good. Comes in loads of shades and you can get an exact matching concealer too.

redfragglebiker · 07/11/2018 19:52

Just discovered the Revolution Conceal and Define and Oh My God it's amazing! Covers flaws without being too matte and stays all day. I'm in love with it.

Beautifullymixed · 07/11/2018 20:34

I have just purchased the revolution conceal and define foundation as well.
So far, so good, although my skin is playing up at the moment, and is all dry and flaky - so I'm not able to try the foundation fully yet.

AncoraAmarena · 07/11/2018 20:55

@Sarcelle the Primark foundation isn't heavy or cakey at all. It's actually light and natural looking, while giving good coverage.

TantricTwist · 07/11/2018 21:49

The Ordinary foundations are rubbish on my skin they sink into pores I didnt even know I had, looks crap on me and wears off quickly.

I use Nars Tinted Moisturiser which I love and stays on for ages and sits perfectly on my skin but I have ordered Rimmel Match perfection on a whim so fingers crossed that's ok for use at work.
I'm now wanting to try the Primark one from the positive comments above.
