Need comfiest trainers ever!

I've just got back from a trip where I walked hundreds of miles and my feet are absolutely buggered. I've been back to work and my feet were aching so much in normal shoes so I reckon I should try some trainers, which I can get away with at work.
So my question is, which are the best looking trainers which are also the most like wearing slippers? 😂

Nike Internationalist- love them and wear them every day

New Balance with added insoles, I can walk miles in them.

On Running shoes. I took them with me when we went sightseeing on holiday and did a lot of walking and my feet were great and no pain in my ankles or knees.

Adidas NMD- bliss!

JollyHostess · 07/11/2018 08:18

Ooh that was quick!
Thanks so much, off to google all of those!

I have these and they are like walking on air. I have loads of trainers but these are def my comfiest pair.

Budget?

There's a new ish brand called OOFOS who make what they call 'recovery' shoes (trainers are meant to take your energy and bounce it to make you more vigorous and springy, they use a different soft foam to absorb energy and help destress/recover - no idea how sound the tech is behind that, but it sounds plausible)

I find my Woden trainers comfy too and you can get smarter looking styles than the Nikes. They’re comfy but not as comfy as my Nikes though.

I second the Nike Air Max 1, unbelievably comfy. I also have Adidas Superstars, Woden and NB but the Nike ones win hands down on the comfy stakes

Sketchers. You will not be disappointed, they're like well fitted slippers imo.

Black slip on ones here https://www.mandmdirect.com/01/details/SK797?dsrl=1260413&dssrl=1260413&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIxaKrlPXB3gIVDuR3Ch0O7AmWEAQYASABEgLQnDDBwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

There's a massive variety available, lace up ones also if you prefer a more 'trainer' look.

Scarpa margarita shoes are incredibly comfy and durable. I've had mine for about 2 years and they still look fab. Come in loads of colours, from muted to bright. I've popped a grangers trekking insole in them for extra softness.

Thanks so much for all of these. They all look great, I'm more drawn to the slightly cheaper ones but that's not to say I'm not tempted by the Oofos too.
Going to have a good look at lunch time. My feet are crying out for these 😂
