DD(almost)5 has decided that what she wants most for her birthday is a pink dress with yellow spots and a yellow belt – and something with a full skirt that twirls always go down well too.

The closest I can get to is this: bit.ly/2JJQbCW

Can anyone else do better? I'm going to have to order this weekend at the latest and am running out of time. Thanks in advance!

Could you afford to have one made?

Sauvignonblanket · 07/11/2018 00:35

Good thought, I definitely would have considered it - but her birthday's next week and won't be able to manage all finding and choosing in time even if there was someone who could do a quick turnaround...

This here??

Maybe tie a yellow ribbon round it?

jackstini · 07/11/2018 00:46

EBay?

IamAporcupine · 07/11/2018 00:51

I am looking for you on ebay but could not find anything, sorry

You could try dying the one you or MHissuesmama found to make the spots yellow

Sauvignonblanket · 07/11/2018 01:02

Thank you everyone! @MHissuesmama that dress should be great and I'll get a yellow belt separately.

And although she has no idea who Mr Blobby is, pink with yellow spots means only one thing to me, so this colour combo is better for that as well!

My litle DD has the john lewis dress. Can confirm it is very cute on. But now you mention Blobby... ha.

You can get sticky out underskirts for 5 year olds on tbe net. The skirt is quite long so it would take it.

This is cute too if you add a yellow belt. OOS online in the size you need but you can search to see if they have the right size in your nearest store by clicking on the ‘find in UK store’ button.

You could get a yellow net underskirt?

BikeRunSki · 07/11/2018 07:42

Don’t dye the JL dress! It will make the spots yellow, but it will also make the pink bits orangey!

Sauvignonblanket · 08/11/2018 20:11

Thank you everyone - super helpful!
