Work shoes I can wear socks with!

Please help me find some shoes for work that I can wear black socks with. I wear skinny/slim black trousers every day and currently wear some court shoes but my feet get cold and wet and I want something more robust for winter.

Ha ha looks like lots of us with the same issue!

One option I did wonder about was loafers with cute little grilled ankle socks? Or brogues I suppose with the same socks.

How about Chelsea boots like Dune Putnam?

Yes I think we’re all finding our ankle grazers do not work when you need socks on.
I wore tights under mine last week with my usual brogues / loafers, after a suggestion on here but I don’t think they looked quite right 😬

I want to know as well. I love ankle grazers, but they just don't work for me in this weather.

Would ankle grazers not work better with 100 denier black opaque pop socks/knee highs rather than socks? You can get ones with a fleecy lining too.
