Microdermabrasion

I'm thinking about this to help with age spots and a general overhaul of my skin. I'm looking for reviews and thoughts on whether it's worth the money. I don't have any major skin issues or many wrinkles for my age (I'm 40) but have age spots and discolouration on my skin.

It'll cost about £50 a session. How many sessions will I need and does it last once you stop going?

Thanks in advance.

I had it done once as my therapist was doing a special offer on it.

It definitely made my skin look clearer and more even toned. One session wasn't enough to make a difference to the prominent sun spots but I think a 6 week course would. It made a difference to my fine lines round eyes. I'm 43 and don't have many wrinkles. I had it done about 2 mths ago now.

I’ve invested recently in a home microdermabrasion machine thingo. After loads of research I went with the Trophy skin MD one.

I’m loving it! Do it once a week, and really noticing a difference after a month. I guess it’s not as brutal as the salon version, but more than enough for me and such a good price compared to forking out at salons. I really think, either way, you need regular sessions. One won’t do much. Mainly it helps with getting other skin products in further.

@Skittlesandbeer wow I didn't even realise you could get home machines Shock this is very exciting! Can I ask what made you choose the trophy one over all the others?
