I've had my hair dyed dark red at the salon. They used a semi-permanent dye as I had bleach all over for some months beforehand and the next time I go in they said they'd re-do it with a permanent.
Anyway, the red dye has been leeching out and has stained my towels, white pillows etc. The stains have not come out in the wash.
I had red hair some time back dyed with permanent dye, and the stains always came out 100% in the wash.
So people who know about hair, do semi-perms cause worse staining than permanent dyes?
Or are some laundry powders just not that effective? Using Persil Bio at the mo.
