Help me re use this dress

Worn once at a wedding but want to wear again for a Christmas party if possible .

I want a silver bolero or cardigan but need it to look right not frumpy. Did have a jacket but not right for this occasion

I would get the neckline on it changed by a seamstress to make it a bit more party like rather than as formal/demure as a wedding. Whatever neckline suits your bust and you will be able to get a lot more wear out of it as it will be less formal.

The dress is nice and I wouldn’t fiddle with the neckline. Do you have a leather jacket you could wear with it? Or s sparky grey cardigan?

Yes that is what I am after but I have got one already but it's a bit old. It was more the style of cardi I wanted advice on.
