Another sizing one - River Island

Hello all, and thank you to the people who helped me out with my primark question the other day - re sizing.

This time, its River Island. The item I want is a jumper and sizes run from XS-XL. I have tried to interpret this - I'm generally an 8 - 10's are generally too big. So, not sure if I should get an XS or S so I guess the question is - what's the sizing like in RI? I wish they could just say 6,8,10,12,14,16 etc. Bloody annoying. It seems with some items they have this X malarky going on.

I would say, from my experience, that River Island are fairly generous with their sizing...for tops anyway - I don’t tend to buy jeans or trousers there.
I think you’d be ok with the xs.
Their refund/exchange policy is ok though, so you shouldn’t have any difficulty changing it should it not be right.

Agree with above. RI can be quite generous so I’d initially try an XS for a size 8.

As always - thank you very much. I noticed the XS was low in stock and the S wasn't so I've gone for the XS. Hopefully its fine, the item isn't in the local shop or I would have just tried the blooming thing on.
