Thinking of getting Under eye fillers

So thinking of getting under eye fillers and I’m wondering if anyone has had them before, what do you think? Was it worth the money? Did you see a difference and how long did it last?

Its an offer by an extremely good practice. its just a run up to christmas loss leader

NoSpend19 · 08/11/2018 11:22

As my new name suggests though, not something that I personally shall be doing.

Calamityjac · 08/11/2018 13:34

VintageFur yes he is on Tatlers list of best surgeons. I get my Botox done by him and wouldn’t go anywhere else. I also got upper eyelid surgery done at his surgery too although it wasn’t him that did the procedure.

It’s costing me £400 for my under eye fillers x

Fwiw a couple of friends have had their tear-troughs done and there's an enormous difference when you see pics side-by-side. Of course you'll already know... Nobody notices until you tell them!

I'm out in the sticks from you and it's £230 for "easier" places. Don't need tear-troughs myself just yet. Can imagine it hurts like fuck though. Had my marionettes done and it was very painful but I think I am particularly sensitive facially. I'd like to get a tiny bit put into my lips but think I'm too wimpy! Botox Saturday to lift the goods!

LovingLiving · 08/11/2018 14:23

I don’t think it is worth the money for the difference it makes. I find Botox much more effective.

Delatron · 08/11/2018 16:37

Botox is effective but you can’t have it in your under eye area only crows feet. So depends what your concerns are.

TakeAChanseyOnMe · 08/11/2018 16:47

@Calamityjac I’m in Glasgow too and he comes well recommended. Now I’m on the “wrong” side of 30 I’m thinking of getting some subtle Botox soon.

Dentists have far better knowledge of facial anatomy than most doctors. I’d either go to a dentist or a cosmetic surgeon for treatment. Definitely not to a newly qualified doctor, like that person from the apprentice.

FiftySense · 08/11/2018 16:52

I had mine done about seven years ago and still have lumps under my eyes.

I'd be very careful about choosing your practitioner.

LovingLiving · 08/11/2018 16:59

Yes re the Botox. I mean it has the biggest overall effect for me compared to fillers.

Delatron · 08/11/2018 17:11

True, more bang for your buck with Botox!

Needed to anonymise my pic. Here goes again. Over the flippin moon with it.

Congratulations! Huge difference but everyone else will just think you're eating and resting well.

Was it sore?

OHolyNightOwl · 08/11/2018 22:02

Great result, you look fab!

nearlytimeforthebigman · 08/11/2018 22:40

Eyes not one but sore. My nose is slightly achy, he put some at the side to help with nasolabial.

CS12345 · 09/11/2018 08:20

I was going to ask if you'd had a bit of filler elsewhere, as your cheeks look fuller. It looks great. Did it hurt? I think there's a typo on your reply, so can't tell if you're saying it was sore or not! How much was it, if you don't mind me asking?

JMAngel1 · 09/11/2018 09:37

Gosh Dr Acquilla butchered me around 10 years ago - he must have improved! Never had so much bruising ever before, nor since.

Calamityjac · 09/11/2018 14:25

nearlytimeforthebigman. I think you look great. Hoping mine turn out as good as that x

Sorry was meant to "my one bit sore" yes he did a little to tear trough, small amount to cheek and some in nasolabial.

princesstiasmum · 10/11/2018 21:52

My daughter has now had the filler dissolved but now has a black eye on one side
