As the title says... it's a sit down meal and then disco type affair.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried scarlet and Jo?

whatsnewchoochoo · 02/11/2018 23:28

www.ladyvlondon.com/vintage-dresses/elsie-dress

Or these? I have several and am a size 20, they're very flattering

BeautifulComicalThings · 02/11/2018 23:34

Do you have any particular style in mind?

I really love this one, I think off the shoulder is really flattering on any size

Can recommenced more, what length do you prefer?

Cherrypie32 · 03/11/2018 08:29

I like the idea from poster above but would probably wear with a long sleeve boat neck black top. Statement necklace. Black tights and heels. Or a tux is v on trend.

There's a woman called Helen who is on Instagram as @helenwearsasize18. She wore this absolutely lush sequined green Hot Squash dress last Christmas and it's still in Debenhams. She looked fab.

It looks better in the tv ad so I think the photograph dosent do it justice!

That black sequin skirt from M& S would go really well with the long sleeved square necked black top Kettlewell are doing.
Much more flattering than v neck imho

I love the sequin skirt idea, what top are you planning to wear with it? I’m looking for something v necked, drapey and non clingy in black that would balance out the skirt
