Hi, I'm thinking of buying something like the NuFace Mini www.currentbody.com/nuface-mini-facial-toner.html?fo_c=129&fo_k=2916af32cc126a81216b1f82f3d59d47&fo_s=shzluk but as I have never used one before I wondered if anyone had any advice/recommendations? Are they worth the money? TIA

I have the mini, and I have to say I think it has made a difference.

I bought it because I noticed my jaw-line was a bit slack and it is looking better!

jupiterdawn · 03/11/2018 16:49

Hi EdWinchester, that's exactly why I want one. Thanks for the reply.

I had one which has given up the ghost, so just ordered a new one, i didnt think it was making much difference but after my old one packed up i realised it was, but you need to keep at it on a regular basis
Current body have an offer on, should be £150, bought mine for £`120

jupiterdawn · 03/11/2018 18:13

Thanks princesstiasmum, I'll look at current body.

I got mine from Current Body. I have bought a big conductor gel from Amazon. The one they give you lasts no time.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 03/11/2018 19:08

Lisa Eldridge had a video about it. She used aloe vera gel with it.

princesstiasmum · 03/11/2018 19:42

jupiterdawn meant to say if you buy from current body ,also you have 90 days trial, you can return it if you dont like it after that

mycatplotsdeath · 04/11/2018 00:03

I use the mini, I also use aloe Vera gel with it and use it every night.
It has definitely made a difference.
I normally do it just watching telly

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/11/2018 09:34

Well that’s christmas taken care of!.

MandalaYogaTapestry · 04/11/2018 11:43

I have Nuface Trinity and ELE attachment. Really pleased with results but you do have to commit to regular use and it takes longer than the advertised 5 minutes. I spend about 20 on eyes and lips with ELE and 10-15 on cheeks, forehead and neck with the regular attachment. Usuly do it while reading. I try to do it 5 times a week.

princesstiasmum · 04/11/2018 14:38

I spend more than 5 minutes on mine too, but if i dont have much time i concentrate on jawline

pretzelflipzaretheanswer · 27/11/2018 17:32

Hi,

Just giving this a bump, as I was researching and this thread came up.

Anyone else tried this?

pockledigg · 28/11/2018 05:07

I bought the Trinity and the ELE attachment last week (from CurrentBody). I can see a difference already - I look more 'awake' (51 yrs old). I'm really pleased with it.

princesstiasmum · 28/11/2018 12:57

pockledig how many settings are there on the trinity? i believe 5,i hve a min, which has only 3, but thinking of getting a trinity,
I did ask when i got the mini from current body and the person i spoke to said they were both the same, but surely not
I have my mini until the 4th of January on trial, but thinking i might return and get the trinity
I had one previously ,[a mini] but for some reason one this doesnt seem as good, i couldnt touch my skin without gel with my old one as it was very uncomfortable,i could use this without gel and hardly feel it

princesstiasmum · 28/11/2018 19:45

How many settings has the trinity ,compared to the mini,? i always thought it had 5 to the minis 3,but it could just be the fact you can add extras to the trinity, but a big difference in price

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 28/11/2018 20:21

I’m 56. I have the NuFace Mini. Have used for 6+ months. First 2/3 months didn’t really notice much difference. Now, I have plumper smoother skin. Lifted cheeks and Naso labial folds are diminished. I’m really delighted. Have stopped using foundation and use a tiny bit of Garnier Oil Free BB cream with blush. I would highly recommend IF you can commit to consistently using the device.

I think it’s bloody marvellous!

pockledigg · 29/11/2018 05:11

PTM - The Trinity has 5 settings but I've only used the strongest. I love it already. You definitely need the gel with this one and I love the ELE attachment. Only been using it for 10 days but it's definitely doing something. Takes me about 15-20 mins a day.

pretzelflipzaretheanswer · 29/11/2018 09:13

Have just seen a worrying review on YouTube about it giving you headaches, facial twitches and heart palpitations Confused

Has anyone had any side effects?

princesstiasmum · 29/11/2018 09:51

pickledigg i was sure the trinity had 5 settings, but i rang current body and they said it was just the same as the mini, i mean why would you pay a much higher price for the same settings,im thinking of getting a trinity,
pretzel i have used a mini for 2 years and had no side effects, sometime you can see a bit of flashing when you shut your eyes, but that is all,i wouldnt worry,

PeroniZucchini · 29/11/2018 15:23

I’ve been using the Rio sixty second face lift, it’s a lot cheaper. While the results aren’t obvious I have been using for eighteen months 2-3 times a week and I think it’s keeping the sagging at bay.

What I don’t like is the slimy gel I have to use and the fact it’s quite painful. Do you have to use gel with the mini and does it ‘pull’ like the Rio? If not how does it work differently?

Kochicoo · 29/11/2018 16:26

I've also got the Rio one and when I first got it and actually managed to do it every night for about ten nights in a row, I really did notice a difference. The problem is I just seem too lazy or I forget to do it in the evening. I'm going to make a real effort now after seeing this thread though! I'd also be interested to know if there's much difference between it and the mini.

Delatron · 29/11/2018 16:29

I had the Rio, well I’ve had 2 and both broke!

I get on better with the NuFace trinity. I find it quicker and I use it in the morning. Really wakes up the face.

I’m thinking of getting the red light attachment. Anybody have this?

Delatron · 29/11/2018 16:30

I struggled with the evening slot too. I get up 5 minutes earlier and the benefits mean I seem to be able to commit to this.

AuntyJackiesBrothersSistersBoy · 29/11/2018 19:41

Mine sometimes makes my fillings “ping”. It’s not painful just a bit “metal-y” tasting,
