Black trousers..

I need some nice black trousers. Willing to spend for a good pair. I like slim fitting, I don't want any that are above the ankle. Want them to be machine washable, etc.. please help me, I'm struggling! Tend to wear with flat pointed shoes, but may wear with boots soon.. Any advice would be most welcome!!

Arket had some lovely tailored trousers a while ago. Slim fitting and black. Massimo Dutti might be worth a try too. Neither the cheapest but i’ve got some nice trousers from both. Work wear really, not sure if that’s what you’re looking for.

I second Boden Richmond's - I find they come up big so maybe order your size and one below? They always have offersfor 20% off and free delivery & returns
I have them in lots of colours and they wash and tumble dry well (too lazy to iron)
