I had something from Benefit which was like a gel one end and brush in the other which I liked. Cannot remember the name. I’ve tinted eyebrows but they’re sparse so I like a product to fill them out a bit but subtly as I’m very pale and need a light brown colour at max! I have a John Lewis voucher - what should I get? Same again? Does anyone know what it’s called? Or anything else out there for sparse brows for someone not looking for the sharpie effect? Thank you!!

I use a Rimmel eyebrow pencil and collection eyebrow kit- looks natural and stays put. Have tried others but didn’t like the gel look

I'm a real fan of high end makeup, but I've just bought a maybelline brow kit that has a wax, powder and highlighter. Haven't really used the highlighter, but the wax and powder are fantastic. Easily as good, if not better than much more expensive products. However I have been using my own brushes with it. The one that comes in the kit is pretty useless.

Mac fling pencil is great - good brush on one end and the colour is very light brown and subtle.

Happy going cheaper GrinSo what else make up wise should I get at JL? £30

Are there any treatments instead of colour products at JL that may be a better investment?

Polkapjs · 31/10/2018 22:20

It’s an online affiliated voucher so I think it has to be goods sadly

Have you looked at Blink products?

Cheesymonster · 01/11/2018 13:08

Essence Make Me Brow is exactly the same as Benefit Gimme Brow - basically a mascara with fibres to plump them up a bit. I buy it in Wilko.

Beverly Hills dip brow pomade is what I use and love!

I use Eyelure kit, which has a wax, coloured powder and highlighter - this gives quite a dramatic finish so it's an evening look (I bought a shade too dark for me, hence the evening use). I also have a Revolution pomade, which is nice too, and light enough for work days. And on days where I'm just looking for a really light touch, I use a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow (colour is "grey" but it's a fairly light brown) and an angled brow brush.

I use Clinique Superfine liner for brows in soft blonde.

The Benefit make-up you’re asking for the name of is Brow Zings www.benefitcosmetics.com/uk/en-gb/product/brow-zings-eyebrow-shaping-kit

bagpiss · 01/11/2018 19:04

I got a free browzings from benefit a couple of weeks ago, I've never used a brow product before but it's AMAZING!

MotherofPearl · 01/11/2018 19:15

I've just bought and started using a Clarins eyebrow pencil and I find it great. Lovely soft subtle light brown that doesn't look 'drawn on' and a brush at the other end of the pencil.

Avegemitesandwich · 01/11/2018 19:18

I really like ABH Dipbrow pomade.

Wenttoseainasieve · 01/11/2018 19:30

Glossier Boy Brow

MrsChollySawcutt · 01/11/2018 19:45

I have tried all sorts and like the Hourglass eyebrow pencil the best. It looks define yet natural and stays put all day.
