In need of a new under eye concealer that doesn't sit in my lines

I have fine lines underneath my eyes and concealer has started sitting in them as the day goes on. I use a good eye cream and moisturiser to prep so the skin should be well-hydrated before I add make up. I am currently using Clarins Instant Concealer which is quite a creamy formula but it seems to gather in those lines. I have also tried Collection concealer - same thing

Anyone who used to have this problem and managed to find a product that doesn't settle in lines?

I also need a good concealer recommendations as I am waiting to have several skin tags removed.

General placemark

I have the Clarins Instant Concealer and find it does the same thing, I think it is too thick! I now just use this to cover any spots/blemishes.

I now use this:-

I find it amazing!

FAB bendy avocado concealer. It's lovely

Another vote for Maybelline eraser, I've been using it for a few days now, it's really good.

This is pricey but amazing www.johnlewis.com/sisley-phyto-cernes-eclat-tinted-eye-concealer-15ml/p398879
A make up artist friend gave it to me after I had DC1 and I've been hooked ever since. Mine last well over 6 months.
It has a lovely cooling metal bit that helps with depuffing and comes with a fab brush too.

It's not the concealer that's the problem. You need to apply a baking powder on top of it to set the concealer in place. Huda beauty baking powder is really good or alternatively use a transparent powder to set it. Once you have set it, your concealer should not go into the creases.

Lottapianos · 31/10/2018 21:16

Side, I've tried powdering. Same thing happened

I nearly started this thread - concealer in lines is one thing making me look old - will give the maybelline a go!

Howareya123 · 31/10/2018 21:49

Not so cheap but I find brilliant is the IT cosmetics bye bye undereye anti ageing concealer. It doesn't budge!!

SpeckledyHen · 31/10/2018 21:51

Lisa Eldridge has a tutorial on her website all about concealers which might help ?

Sexnotgender · 31/10/2018 21:53

Tarte Shape Tape is the best I’ve found.

You can buy it on QVC.

sidesplittinglol · 31/10/2018 21:56

Perhaps try using less creams and oils in the area before applying your concealer? What type of powder are you using? I used to have that problem but I found baking it worked.

Lottapianos · 31/10/2018 22:24

Side, I used No7 Airbrush Away

Tarde Shape Tape is amazing but if you want a cheap alternative try the Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define. It’s exactly the same as Shape Tape in my opinion and a fraction of the price.

Ollivander84 · 31/10/2018 23:20

Shape tape is good but quite thick
The conceal and define is more liquid and creamy
FAB avocado is lighter, slightly less coverage but somehow illuminating and doesn't crease

luckycat007 · 31/10/2018 23:27

It cosmetics do one - it's probably one of the best I've tried purposely for anti aging. It's about twenty quid. I've tried a few in my time - Clinique, nars, benefit boing- all no good.

sparklyDMs · 31/10/2018 23:28

I'm also a fan of the Maybelline eraser..also using translucent setting powder - pretty happy with them both

sidesplittinglol · 31/10/2018 23:44

Ah ok. I've not used it but give the Huda beauty a go if you can. I've heard good things about the Tarte shape tape too.
