I wasn't really taught to care about my appearance or to value it. I had some negative messages about my looks and I was just brought up with good personal hygiene but nothing beyond that. So, I have always felt, and no doubt looked, a bit clueless.
Also, I'm late 30s and in the last couple of years I went from a skinny size 8 to a stocky size 14. I've been making some lifestyle changes, so I guess I'm now back down to a 12. But I've still to come to terms with my new shape.
I've followed threads on here and researched my Kibbe body style. It makes a lot of sense, and for the new season I would like to buy some key pieces of everyday clothing to get me through the cold months and to feel a bit more better about myself.
I get a regular haircut and colour but don't wear make-up.
I would appreciate any help in buying for a "Flamboyant Natural". My budget/tastes tend to be Next and SuperDry.
