Coat help?!

gilmoregal · 30/10/2018 12:16

I need a new coat and I'm broke due to end of mat leave so my options aren't as they normally would be.

It needs to have a hood and be showerproof but warm. I've got a seasalt seafolly and would like similar but warm but I don't have a seasalt budget.

I want it to wear everyday with jeans, jumpers and trainers.

I have a nice winter coat, but with now having a baby I need a hooded one and tend to wear trainers a lot but would like coat to also be able to be worn with black riding style leather boots.

Preferably from asos so can buy now pay later as get paid in just under two weeks.

If anyone can help with this I'd be really appreciative

Without wanting to state the obvious, if you want a warm, showerproof coat with a hood from ASOS, can you not just look on the ASOS website to see if there are any that you like that meet this criteria? Or am I missing something?

KnockMeDown · 30/10/2018 16:10

OP didn't mention ASOS?

Try Tu at Sainsbury's. They have 25% off at the moment also. I bought a great coat in there yesterday, similar to what you describe, for £30!

Oops sorry just saw the asos mention.

But still, try Tu.....

Can you get a fleece to wear under your seafolly coat for now rather than buy a new coat?

kingofthemountains · 30/10/2018 16:59

Is there an outlet centre near you? There's one not far from me and they've got things like mountain warehouse which should do what you want?

gilmoregal · 30/10/2018 17:51

The reason I asked is I've been staring at coats on ASOS and other coats when I've had chance to during the day and am struggling as I'm not seeing anything I like, and could imagine myself wearing.

So I opened it up to S&B hoping someone may come up with something I hadn't looked at or had glanced over as that's the point in asking others.
