Wrong gel colour on toes

Bugger. I've just had a pedicure on holiday and I chose the wrong gel colour. It looks like a fungal nail infection instead of the lovely gold I thought it would be.

Can the colour be painted over if I go back tomorrow and explain?

Don't think that colour was too bad but agree that your nails are very short, hope they're not sore.

They were already short, that was my doing . Colour may not be what I would have chosen, although what do I know? There was a discussion about the right shade to kill the yellow, and tbh I was happy with anything at all so long as it didn't look infected.

They are still what I would call neutral (not necessarily a bad thing) but they are much better than the last colour.

I don’t think think they look too short. I reaaaaallllyyy hate having any overhanging toe nail, it gives me the heebie jeebies.

Ginky blue nails can look a bit corpse-like though (unless they're navy)?
The only colours I'll wear are black, dark grey and deep red.

Oh yes Margot your completely right! I learned this this the hard way as a teen. I ended up in hospital after breaking a toe on a bloody chair leg and they thought for a minute the circulation to my toes had been affected because my nails were a funny colour. I muttered (in my teen mortification) it's my nail polish!
