Anyone have a Mulberry Lily?

I'm debating whether to get one but I can't figure out if they're reasonably sized or quite small? Are they ok for a day bag?

I have a Bayswater but it's hardly ever full and it's so heavy!

The regular Lily is small, more like an evening bag in my opinion, but a medium Lily is bigger and would be great for every day use. (But I do like to carry the kitchen sink Grin)

I have a regular but I only really use it for nights out. I have to use my bigger bags day to day as I carry around so much shit!

I use a regular Lily in the day as well as for evenings. I don’t carry much though but it takes purse, phone, lipstick, tissues, keys and glasses ( but not in a big case).

I have a Clifton Which is my everyday bag . I only carry a purse and phone / keys etc . I think it's more useable than the lily .

I regularly use it as a day bag but I really don’t carry much. It fits in my plus size iPhone, a card wallet and sunglasses in a case. I can fit in also my car keys and a few bits of makeup and it doesn’t look full really. I used to use a full size continental wallet and I could get all the additional bits in but it would be a tight squeeze. I like it because it works as both a day and evening bag.

I personally think the Lily is more of an evening bag, it’s beautiful though! I have a Tessie satchel as a day bag and the bays as my work one. The Tessie is a great, and fits in just what I need, it’s also great for going from day to night.

I have one and it's quite small, it's used on special occasions like weddings or nights out.

MooMinCow · 29/10/2018 16:22

I have a regular sized one and I mainly use it as an evening bag (though I have used it as a day bag if I leave my large purse at home and just take my cards). I think the larger Lily would be too heavy once full and the chain strap would become uncomfortable.

I have the medium Lily in three colours because it’s such a versatile bag. Looks elegant and you can get a lot in it. And I think it does day to evening well too.

cookiesaurus · 29/10/2018 18:07

I have a medium lily and love it so much! I use it all the time - both during the day and night! It's not huge but it fits enough in it for a day out - it just means you don't have the extra clutter you usually carry because you can! No space for an umbrella though!

I've got a Bayswater tote which I hardly use due to how heavy/bulky it is! I choose the lily over it all the time!

I'd say go for it!

I have a regular lily which I mainly use for night. I did buy it to replace a day one, but the leather is so soft I don’t want to expose it to the elements. Plus I do think metal straps are more evening than day.

chloechloe · 29/10/2018 21:27

I would say you need a medium Lily for a day bag, the regular Lily is way too small!

CantChoose · 29/10/2018 21:54

I have a regular lily and use it as a day bag, I don't carry loads of stuff but it's bigger than it looks and it takes my purse, keys, phone and a bit of makeup.

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 30/10/2018 07:25

I have a medium Lily and it’s the perfect size. I also have the bays water tote and don’t use it so much for the same reason as cookie
