Facial Waxing - How Often

Just that really, if you're over 40 how often do you get a lip and chin wax? I had mine done two weeks ago and it needs doing again, is that usual?

I'm thinking laser might work out cheaper.

Watching, I do my own for many reasons mostly because by the time I realise I need it done I need to just get it done rather than wait till I can make it to the salon.
I’d love to get it layered but scared that it might not be great for my skin, especially on the face.

Every 3 weeks for a full wax but will need to pluck chin and tidy up eyebrows every 1-2 weeks — but I’m Indian and have pcos and so my hair growth is ridiculously fast.

Now that I found the twiddly coil thing (epistick) I have stopped paying for waxing and threading after what... 15 years?! All that money spent!

I twiddle it over my face most nights whilst watching telly and then have a look for big mean chin hairs (the ones that grow overnight) and tidy up my brows every few days or so.

33 and latina so quite hairy!

I also use the epistick regularly, and pluck the wiry ones out myself. Seems to keep on top of it.

I wax my own upper lip weekly & the odd pluck as well. I’ve told DH if I end up in a coma he has to get a beautician in to hospital for me for waxing or I will look like Freddie Mercury Grin ......Off to google epistick

Thanks everyone for sharing, seems I'm relatively normal 😁 I'm having three weekly waxes but needing to pluck strays after two weeks.

Have you tried threading? I find it lasts far longer than waxing.
