Timberland boots

Would it be a mistake if I were to purchase some tall Timberland boots like these
Would they look ok with dresses and over jeans and leggings? I really want something practical but not wellies. Also want them to look nice. Just stumbled across them while looking for Timberland boots for my ds.

I have 3 pairs of timberlands and none of them are as comfortable as I kind of think they should be.

I love them! I've wanted these ones for years but I've never taken the plunge to buy them because I'm not sure they would look right on someone with calves as chunky as mine. I should probably try them on in a shop before deciding that though!

I love them too and have had my eye on them for a while but not sure if they go high enough on the leg, also need to try them on!
