Pyjamas for a 13-14yo boy

I want to get ds some brushed cotton or cotton flannelette pyjama bottoms. Could be pyjama sets, if I can't find just bottoms. He's too big for the biggest children's sizes I can find, and too small for the smallest adult sizes. Plus, as he's actually only just turned 12, he hasn't had his growth spurt yet, so I really don't want to pay adult prices!

Lands End and White Company don't have anything suitable.

Any suggestions?

Next?

GreenTulips · 27/10/2018 23:34

I've seen someone recently - maybe adds?

My son loves them and we've had a few pairs from Primark which have lasted

GreenTulips · 27/10/2018 23:44

That should be Asda

Iwantplaits · 27/10/2018 23:47

Gap and M&S PJ bottoms for my boys. They have tshirt/vests for the top part from Next.

Tiredpigeon · 27/10/2018 23:47

My ds (12) loves Asda mens size small pyjamas with flanelette bottoms only £15 and can be tumble dried too!

EleanorLavish · 28/10/2018 04:58

Boden do lovely PJ bottoms, here.
I think I bought nice long sleeved PJ tops from M&S or Next.

EleanorLavish · 28/10/2018 05:00

These.

QueenofLouisiana · 28/10/2018 05:15

Primark do great pjs for this age. The XS size may be right for him.

BikeRunSki · 28/10/2018 05:20

Next this anexample, they do other styles.

teta · 28/10/2018 09:04

Primark. I bought my 14 year old Ds a 2 pack of cotton flannel pj bottoms this week. He doesn’t wear tops as he gets too hot.

celtiethree · 28/10/2018 09:10

Fat Face do good flannel pjs

haba · 28/10/2018 09:21

bikerunski may I ask what next boys' sizing is like? IME the girls' are always v short, thanks.

shutlingsloe · 28/10/2018 09:29

I used Next when ds was this age.

JellySlice · 28/10/2018 10:22

Next go up to age 16!?!?! Not in my nearest branch they don't. Shall make an expedition further afield. I'd discounted Primark because everything there comes up short on dh, but of course it might be different for ds. Another expedition! And Asda! So many options Grin

Wish I'd posted this at the beginning of half term and not at the end.

H&m also do boys bottoms.I bought the age 14 for ds2 aged 12. Though they seem to sell out really quickly.

sparklepops123 · 28/10/2018 11:19

I got my son aged 12 some from Sainsbury's , adult section though

MissMatchedClaws · 28/10/2018 11:22

Asda had some reasonable ones. Age 13-14 fitted 5’7” DS (skinny 12 yr old)

jellycat · 28/10/2018 11:30

Next don’t stock anything above age 12 in their stores but they do go up to age 16. You have to order larger sizes.

M&S do some nightwear up to age 16.

Primark men’s extra small might fit.

BikeRunSki · 28/10/2018 12:57

I order everything from Next online and either get it sent to the Bach nearest work (for free) or delivers to home. They were doing an offer of p&p for £20/year on home deliveries.

ShalomJackie · 28/10/2018 13:44

TK MAxx has a variety of bottoms and some of the mens are xs

BooEekCackle · 28/10/2018 15:45

NEXT for men, size XS.

Charley50 · 28/10/2018 15:51

Primark.

SoupDragon · 28/10/2018 15:53

I would recommend Primark men's dept too. That's where I used to get them for DSs at that age.

MaruMaru · 28/10/2018 16:04

Older child sizes aren't generally stocked in Next stores- you have to order from the Directory. But they have a massive range of clothes for boys up to 16 and then the next size up is small or XS in adult.

TantricTwist · 28/10/2018 18:29

Next is great for tall skinny boys like my DS 12 esp the Jeans.
