Bra intervention

Ok I’m not sure how these things go. In the last year my bust and back has grown in size (alone with the rest of me) I now have no idea what size I am. I’ve been measured in m&s and Debenhams but 2 different sizes given but no bras in those size fit me. The cups were either over spilling or not offering support.

Can you measure yourself?
Underbust (tightly)
Bending over full bust (without a bra on, and loosely measure)

Can you measure tightly under your bust and then measure over the fullest part of the bust while bent forward. Those figures will help you get the best size to try

Are you anywhere near a branch of Bravissimo? I had a fitting there recently and it was really helpful.

Measure as per this guide and believe in the measure!

The band should be tight, not uncomfortably so, but firm, so you can't ping it by more than an inch.

You may have to 'scoop' some flesh from under each armpit, this is escaped boobage and should be up front.

It may feel odd at first like the first time you wore a bra as the pressure points are different and It may leave a mark when you take it off, but only in the way a pair of socks does round your ankles

As a pp said - go to bravisimo, avoid M & S, they add 4" to the band which is not correct. Whatever you are round, you are round.

Thanks so much! Going to measure and order a few bras to try. We’re very limited in terms of lingerie stores that cater for a large bust in Ireland!
