Help! Tights and shoes.

Help please! I have bought a lovely outfit for a party tonight, but it's now freezing and pooring with rain.
Can I wear tights with peep toe shoes? Or will it look odd?

It wasn't as bad as I thought on the way home, it was actually quite warm, or maybe that was the amazing cloak of alcohol I had on.
