Hair dye

So I'm going to semi permanent die my hair and just can't decide on what colour. I need it to match with a black and red dress. I'm naturally really pale and blonde. I'd prefer a colour that isn't awkward to die back out when it fades

Be very careful dyeing blonde hair darker. You're liable to end up with khaki hair. If you can stretch to a salon i would.

Also semi permanent dyes arent really semi permanent. They fade rather than wash out so you will never get back to blonde without damaging your hair. It will take bleach to get it back blonde then probably a toner and that is definitely a salon job unless you want orange / yellow hair.

I'm not bothered about going blonde again apart from when I want to die my hair my normal pink. I usually die my hair once a year so it has chance to recover

Dyeing it darker wont damage it too much but to go back pink unless it is a very deep dark pink you would need to be blonde first for it to take it and that involves bleach. It's bleach which causes the most damage. If you're hair is relatively healthy anyway it wont all fall out or anything but you will get a lot of breakage.

What colour are you thinking of going this time? Red will take well on blonde but will fade very very quickly however you could just top it up every couple of weeks.

I honestly can't decide what colour I've been every colour at some point. Even had rainbow hair. Might do that again?

So I found a colour I've not been....Orange 😊 just bought some dye will save rainbow for next year
