Lace up boots without zip

Hi stylistas,
I'm looking for some lace up ankle boots with a small heel in black that don't have a bloody zip up the side. They all seem to! It just cheapens the look of any boots imo and also is kinda pointless.
Has anyone got anything similar or any recs?

And while I'm here... any buying tips for purchasing a leather skirt? Should I size down a bit? Any brands to avoid/go for?

Doc Martens in avaril or Kendra. Both have heels and are lace up but no zips.

Ooh thanks @FormerlyFrikadela01! Looove the Averils but not sure how practical such s high heel is with a 1 yo.. still think I'll them on in store though!
