I'm off to the shops-casual weekend capsule?

My work and dressy style is pretty well worked out for I'm rubbish as casual.

I need clothes for e. G. A casual weekend lunch, a an evening in the pub, shopping, a sporting fixture and a few drinks, Comfy (especially shoes) warm and practical but still "nice".

What do I need and where do I go? I'm hoping to go for quality not quantity so happy to go towards top end high St. 48yp, size 10,5'7".

I'm going to try Bluewater, so shops there, if you know it.

I rate warehouse for casual dresses that do well with tights and ankle boots.

Is there a John Lewis there?
Some lovely Hush pieces about right now.

Clark's or M&S for ankle boots!

Jigsaw are really good for this look.

And if you are willing to throw money at the problem, get a lovely suede or shearling lined coat.

I live in a parka (mine is Diesel by way of TK Maxx) and an AllSaints leather jacket in autumn/winter. Skinny jeans in black and blue (TopShop Jamie), tan lace-up ankle boots (DuoBoots), Uniqlo cotton tops. I have a Celtic and Co cable cardigan which acts as a coat when it's dry and some nice jumpers from Gap. Not all available in stores but I would try a wander round a department store first to get ideas.

jeans or joggers, sweater & trainers.
jeans, blouse, leather jacket & ankle boots or swap the jeans & blouse for a dress. If you want to be more on trend longer boots with the dress.

i would wear the first option for a sporting fixture but add a warm coat & flat boots maybe. I agree that a warm, expensive coat is a good buy.

I shop in Russell & Bromley for boots. For clothes look at Whistles, John Lewis concessions, Jigsaw, Cos, other stories (don’t know if there is one in Bluewater), Topshop.
