Are these still the best option or are there other models on the market now?

I had one a while ago but the battery has gone.

Any thoughts tips suggestions welcome

There's a new device by a company called Foreo, I've seen them in Sephora. I have a Clarisonic but it's annoying having to buy a new brush head. I can't figure out how the foreo things work (they vibrate and they're silicone haha) but apparently they are really good.

Just thought i'd answer because I don't use my clarisonic anymore and i don't want you to waste your money like I did!

I completely understand the appeal of beauty gadgets but maybe invest in a really nice cleanser and a set of nice flannels (at least 7 so you have a clean one to use everyday) before splashing out on a device?

Thanks Liquorice, will have a look at Foreo.

I did use my Clarisonic when it worked and found it made a difference over normal washing, for my skin.

redkeyboard maybe get a clarisonic that also has a 'body brush' function (SmartProfile it's called).

My clarisonic is only for the face but i think i would have found a body brush more useful. Hopefully someone else comes along to help :)

I love my foreo. It is absolutely the single best thing I have bought for my skin. I actually glow. I was sceptical but desperate because my hormonal breakouts were getting worse each month. I use it with the Super Facialist anti blemish wash that I already used.
They had foreo for £45 in TK Maxx. That's where I got mine.

My Vlarisonic battery also gave up the ghost after a few years. I didn’t want to spend loads so I replaced it with the BootsNo 7 battery-operated sonic face brush. The cleansing results are pretty good I find, but the design of it is really poor - it causes the cleanser to splash and splatter absolutely everywhere. There’s no ‘frame’ around the brush head and the mess is really off-putting when it splatters all over the mirror. But it’s a fraction of the price and cleans my skin pretty well. It used AA batteries which has its own pros and cons.

Having raved about the foreo; today mine has died. I'm hoping it just very flat and it's now on charge. I would however get another for the fantastic results it's given.

Just an FYI : you can get Foreos through ASOS and this weekend they have some decent discount codes for Halloween!

I've paid a small forturne for a new one from look fantastic. My facial lady said today how much better my skin is. There's no congestion. It's worth the shocking cost! Amazon have a Sunmay branded one for £22. I wish I'd seen that before I ordered a new luna. It would of been worth a shot.
