Healthy, sensible diet and regular exercise / cardio and strength and conditioning. You can’t spot train fat from specific areas so it will take time. Some gentle core exercises (depending on how you delivered) will help to bring your abdominal muscles back together and tighten your middle a little but won’t get rid of the loose skin and layer of extra padding you may have, that will just take time. Pilates or yoga may help strengthen your core. Weight lifting is good for engaging your core too, once you feel ready. Cardio like running or swimming will help to burn calories and fat but without strength and conditioning you might find that you still feel a bit loose or wobbly.

Be kind to yourself and accept that it takes time to heal. There is nothing wrong with making positive, healthy steps to support your body in recovering but it should be about being healthy and happy for your baby, not worrying about a bit of mum tum.
