I am still within the realms of cheap highlighters, Makeup Revolution, Make Up Academy, L'Oreal and Barry M are the only ones I own so far. But within these brands is such a wealth of lovely bright shininess I don't really mind. I really like shimmery iridescent ones as they seem to suit both my skintone and my look, MUA Pearlescent Sheen is my current favourite, closely followed by Revolution Haunted Lights, and I love their Cool Glow highlighter palette too. I really love Jeffrey Star's highlighters can get them from beauty bay, or beauty lish.
Becca Parisian lights
And Too Faced Diamond Glow x

I want the Too Faced Diamond Glow so much, and the ABH highlighter palettes Moonchild, Aurora and Dream Glow, bit they're so expensive! 😨 They're gorgeous though.

MUA is my favourite. I can't remember the shade (and am at work so can't check) but the pale pink one.

anitagreen · 25/10/2018 17:36

@SapphireSeptember honestly the abh ones aren't all that but atm TK Maxx are selling the abh kits for £19.99 have a look in your local one x

MrToadHasSwallowedHisNoustache · 25/10/2018 17:39

The NYX Born to Glow palette is my favourite. Great colours for all skin tones!

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 25/10/2018 20:00

Becca champagne pop has been my favourite for a while now, it's nice and buttery without chunks of glitter

anitagreen · 25/10/2018 22:02

This is the too faced diamond glow highlighter on @SapphireSeptember x

Ooh, if I see any ABH highlighter palettes in my local TK Maxx I'll buy one! Thanks for the tip.
That's the one they destroyed on Beauty News*! Looks really pretty on, and you're better at doing winged eyeliner than I am! Halloween Grin
*They did re-press it after they smashed it up.

@SapphireSeptember I love those videos of destroying makeup and then re pressing it lol and thank you x

I love the MUA highlighters.

I also love the big skin kiss from revolution, they're supposed to be Jeffree star dupes i think, sun kiss is my favourite.

I also absolutely love the wet and wild highlighters and the sleek solstice pallete.

Avegemitesandwich · 26/10/2018 10:51

Becca Moonstone for me.

I also have the ABH Moonchild palette which I love for a more colourful look. It looks mad in the palette but just a teeny tiny bit of the blue on the very top of your cheekbone or the green on your brow bone is lush. And the pink I just smush all over because its gorgeous!

I find the cheaper highlighters are almost a bit too shiny, I have a MUR one and it's almost like a mirror on my cheeks!

dontgobaconmyheart · 26/10/2018 11:11

Off topic but how is everyone getting their highlighter to look so smooth and glowy? I look 100 times worse with it on, it sits on my skin and I just look a bit unwell or robotic (am very very pale so it's not hard bit still) - I dont put too much on, I've tried cream, liquid and powder, I've tried mixing drops in foundation- always just looks weird and unnatural EnvyAngry

anitagreen · 26/10/2018 11:31

@dontgobaconmyheart I usually look like the tin man lol but I've found this too faced one just glides on nicely and it's buildable I think its just finding the right product x

FormerlyFrikadela01 · 26/10/2018 11:59

I don't mind shining like a belisha beacon but I hear the hourglass ambient lighting powders give a more glow from within look. Might be worth checking out.

Oh and I've never used a highlighter that doesn't show a bit of the texture of my skin. But again I don't mind that, I'm 33 my skin is not a smooth mask and I'm ok with that.

fantasmasgoria1 · 26/10/2018 14:05

I like several of makeup revolution highlighters. I have tried more expensive ones and they are not as good.

bumblebee39 · 26/10/2018 17:05

I have always loved Rimmel. Cheap and cheerful 😊
