Party shoes or boots for DD?

My DD is 9 and doesnt really go to many partys now where she has to get dressed up, so her party wear has been scaled down to a few dresses, nice skirts etc.
My dilema is she does have a disco party coming up and also we have a family meal to go to, also christmas meals.
So do i buy her some sparkly shoes or stick to some nice boots that will go with dresses etc (if any exist)!?

Thanks, yes ive looked at them and ones with a bow or glitter on. Im thinking she will get more use out of them than some ballet pumps

Which would she like? I have a 9 and 10 year old and they are very much beginning to find their own style and I find what they will wear has changed a lot in the last year.
