Long lasting foundation

Help please!

I would say I have combination skin which can be quite dry in places but also oily t-zone and I sweat a lot so most foundations slide off after a while. I also have large pores and fine lines around my eyes (I'm late 30's)

I'm a teacher and need a long-lasting foundation to last the work day.
I've been using EL Double Wear which gives good coverage and does last the day but seems to accentuate my lines and pores and gives a bit of a caked look on me. I use Benefit porefesional primer underneath but I'm not sure this is very good.

Can anyone reccomend a foundation and primer I could try?

Thank you

Also any skincare I can use to combat my big pores as they are the worst!

I used to use double wear, but found it too much for my skin for every day. I now use bare minerals, original powder with mineral veil over and it lasts all day, extra bonus of it doing wonders clearing up my skin.
In the very hot weather or days with long meetings it sometimes needs a top up, but I have yet to find a foundation that doesn't.

Your skin sounds like mine! I have just discovered dior forever and it's my new perfect foundation. I use a little bobbi brown powder on t zone as well.

Dior forever converted from double wear.

The ordinary coverage foundation doesn't budge. Very, very transfer proof too.

Also the Bobbi brown skin foundation is good.

Smashbox studio skin stays where you put it too, one of the best (unfortunately doesn't agree with my skin anymore which I'm gutted about!)

Have you tried Mac Studio Fix Fluid? It's long lasting and gives good coverage but never looks cakey at all on me! Are you using a toner for skincare? I find that the pores on my nose more obvious and feel 'rough' if I don't use it at night! I use either Pixi glow tonic or The Ordinary glycolic toner before bed plus The Ordinary AHA/BHA peeling solution about once a week
