In need of big jeans!

My favourite jeans are dead. My fat thighs have worn holes in the and my poor attempts at patching them up have failed. I hate clothes shopping and my seamstress skills are non-existent Sad

I’ve been putting off buying replacements for over a year as I’ve been trying to slim down but a series of events have lead to stress eating and going up a dress size.

I’m probably a size 20 on the bottom, thunder thighs and chunky calves, so skinny or straight jeans are out. Hate “shaper” jeans and I can’t get on with the feel of tight fitting trousers. Currently in craghoppers. Need two pairs, budget up to £100.

Help?!?!

Simply Be, ASOS Curve or Levi's Plus might be worth a look.

I get my wide leg jeans from Simply Be. They had great ones last year and I am still wearing them now. I will say though that they seem to change the ones they sell every now and then and the ones they have now don't have great reviews. Worth keeping an eye on though.

I got my friend some bootcuts in Asda recently. She's generally a 20 but an 18 fit her and they looked great. They had them in blue and black. Sadly out of stock online but worth looking in store for them - that's where I found them.

Levi plus. Different styles available, but their dark sky skinnies 710 are very comfy and flattering.

I’ll keep an eye on simply be and asos, thanks! No Asda near me unfortunately. Levis are too expensive, budget is up to £100 total for two pairs.

Really struggling to find loose fit jeans... does anyone (female) wear mens jeans?

Try Sainsbury's and Next - I find them pretty true to size.

Have a look at the Seasalt website - I've just found these www.seasaltcornwall.co.uk/clothing/trousers-leggings-cropped/scots-pine-indigo-washed-denim-trousers_mid_indigo.htm. It might also be worth looking at anywhere which does a "boyfriend" cut, such as Gap?

A second vote for Seasalt. I got a very roomy pair of jeans there earlier this year. I wish now I'd sized down
