I am looking to get my DD's (8) ear's pierced for Christmas, would anyone be able to recommend somewhere in London?

Metalmorphosis in TopShop (Oxford St) will do an 8yo ears with Studex (I don't know exactly what that is )

You need photo ID and parental consent.

My DD had her cartilidges done at a Tattoo Parlour (we're in Zone 6 , she wasn't old enough to have a needle piercing in TopShop)

"DO YOU PIERCE WITH GUN OR NEEDLES?
We never use a piercing gun.
All body piercings are done with sterile, single use needles.
However we offer ear lobe piercings with a sterile cartridge system (Studex). This system works very similar to a gun, but with it being a single use sterile cartridge it is much cleaner than a piercing gun.
This system can only be used on lobe piercings".

Ah , this is from their site .

I’m not in London but having had my daughters ears done last October by gun it was the worst thing I could have done. Some piercing places will do them with what some call pushkins which are quick and easy they don’t use the same force as a gun meaning the lobe heals better. Trying to talk my daughter into having them next time

I took my dd to Gypsy Stables piercing studio in Soho. I wanted a needle piercing because it's cleaner and safer. It looks a bit dodgy - down in a basement but very clean and they were brilliant with her.

Just a warning though - even with a needle piercing, we've had a few problems with soreness/mild infection. Just unlucky I suppose.
