Do eyebrow serums really work?

Last year DD bought a cheap peel off face mask from primark, got some in her eyebrows and essentially ripped half of them out removing it.

Over the past year they have grown back slowly.

Yesterday she went round to a friends house and.... bloody did it again. 😡Apparently she thought she'd been careful but some dripped onto her brows and her friend didn't notice and pulled it off.

It's not as bad as last time but the eyebrow that was still a bit underpowered after the last catastrophe has lost a chunk of hair from the end. She looks odd.

We can fill it (still have the kit from last time!) but she's upset that it may never grow back.

I've told her how stupid this was but now want to help her. So, do any of these fancy eyebrow serums really work to encourage hair growth or should I just burn £40?

The Benefit one is pretty good. It's definitely thickened my over-plucked brows up! Worth a try!

Thanks Singinggoldfinch. It says it improves the look of brows but presumably you have to have something there to begin with? She's no hair left. Does it actually encourage growth?

YES! Without a doubt, I use the Rapidbrow one ( from Amazon so it's around £29) and have used it for a few years. My mum who is in her 90s (but still very fashion aware) uses it too.

My eyebrows have grown back really well but the life cycle of a hair seems to be around 6 weeks, so you have to keep going with it, as they all tend to shed at the same time.

It's got the same ingredients in as things like Regain ( hair restorer for men / women) and stimulates the hair follicles.

You need to give it 4-6 weeks before the new hair appears.

Just on amazon. She'd better bloody use it properly for this money!
