Sorry, another trainer one...

I need a really comfortable, cushioned, bouncy pair of soft leather or suede navy trainers - have a few city breaks with lots of walking, but also want some that will be OK with smart jeans for nice restaurants.
I have widish feet, with a bunion on one of them - I bought some Geox and they are excruciatingly uncomfortable - seem to be cut so that they dig right into the bunion. Ditto my metallic superga's, which I love, but can't walk far in!
I have looked at gazelles and puma suede, but don't really want so much white on them - would prefer all navy. Oh, and would prefer to pay less than £75ish.
Any suggestions welcome!

Top end of your budget but try New Balance?

NB 996

They fit me in late pregnancy and my feet have got a bit wider.

I would second New Balance. I bought some from Amazon a few months ago and now don't like to wear any other shoes... I normally get swollen ankles/knees if I walk around a lot (due to knackering them in a car accident) but I am fine with these trainers - they are brilliant. My sister tried them and immediately bought a pair for herself!
here's a link

(and we both have hobbit feet, btw - really wide, so should be fine for you, though I'd buy a size up as NB can measure a bit small).

New balance are like walking on clouds 😍

Do you want running shoe style, or sneaker style?

butterycrumpetsfortea · 22/10/2018 10:58

Thank you - I will look at New Balance.
@BikeRunSki - I would prefer a sneaker style as less 'clumpy', but comfort is my priority, so willing to compromise!

Light vans or sketchers X

Wallabyone · 22/10/2018 11:02

Adidas Campus are a slightly wider fit, are very comfortable, and similar to Stan Smiths in style.
