I feel like my current makeup selection is a bit outdated and is making me look a bit drawn and peaky and tenthingsbindi has I’m lacking the skills/techniques/tools to apply properly.

So I was thinking about heading to a local makeup counter or dept store to get a bit of a makeover and advice on products and try a few out that suit my age/skin type etc.

I’m 38 and a mum of 2 (6 and 1) i have good skin for my age. Any specific brands would people recommend??

I’d have said Bobbi Brown too, but recently had my face ‘done’ by one of the girls in Kiko and she did a brilliant job too. So might be worth a look if you don’t want to spend Bobbi Brown money (because you always buy the products after a make up lesson).
