If you had £125 to spend on yourself BUT you were 6 months pregnant?!

I have had some birthday money and it has come with strict instructions to "treat myself" (in previous years I have been known to put the money in my account and it just gets absorbed into general day to day spending).

I would love to get some new clothes but I don't want to waste money on more maternity clothes - I have bought a few bits which are nice enough and I will only be in them for a little while and then I will be a funny shape for a while!

So I want something which will last and will also feel like a proper treat. I'm thinking maybe shoes, either nice trainers or boots, or maybe some nice make up or jewellery? I don't really want to spend it on hair/nails/massage as I don't really enjoy those or find them relaxing experiences.

I'm feeling a bit lost style wise so would appreciate any ideas! I'm early thirties expecting first DC after Xmas. Thanks Smile

Trainers. You'll get lots use and unlikely to spend lots of trainers if you didn't have the birthday money. Enjoy spending!

If you see yourself doing a lot of walking when your baby is here then boots are a good call. Otherwise I’d get some really nice shower oil, a fab lipstick and a lovely cashmere sweater, I prefer jumpers a size up so your baby body wouldn’t matter.

Or, some lovely lounge wear for those early days, nice enough to answer the door in.

I’d put it aside and wait until after baby is born and your body shape has settled. Equally with trainers and boots - some people find that there feet increase in size as their pregnancy progresses and never fully go back to pre-pregnancy size.
