Oh wise MNers... can someone please suggest something to help with my scalp?
I suddenly seem to have been hit with winter and the driest, flakiest scalp EVER. It’s all right at the front of my hair line, so super visible and really getting me down. Does anybody have any super suggestions please?

My dd had a really bad scalp and we tried everything it seemed, including medicated shampoo but nothing shifted it till i picked up aldis own brand dandruff shampoo. It got slightly worse at first but within days it cleared right up and hasn't been an issue since.

Head and shoulders clinically proven solutions, the one with selenium in.

Have you tried the ginger shampoo from the Body Shop? It’s the only thing I’ve found that keeps my psoriasis under control other than prescription steroid ointment.

I use Philip Kingsley Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo when this happens (usually this time each year as we transition into colder weather) and it clears my scalp up pretty quickly and I'm fine for another year.

I stopped using hairbrushes while doing the curly girl method. An unexpected side effect was no more itchy, flaky scalp. Took about 3 months to disappear completely.
