Wedding hair and make up

I booed hair and makeup for my wedding through a friends revomendation

I can't seem to make contact with mua - wedding is 4 weeks away.

Do I just do my own hair and makeup?
Is it that much of a big deal to have it done preofessionally?

I wasn't planning on having an up do (long fine hair that doesn't hold any style)

I got married last Saturday and my one thing I really didn't mind spending a lot of money on was hair and make up.

I'm hopeless at both and was really nice on the day just having a shower and others make me pretty.

Where are you based? My mua is amazing

I'm in Buckinghamshire on the border if Oxfordshire

If anywhere near Surrey I will take a recommendation?
