Primer needed

PeakTrans · 20/10/2018 21:03

I need a primer to see if it will help my makeup look better. I have an oily t-zone and rosacea so need something light and non-greasy. My skin is quite sensitive too.

The only primers I have used before are Chanel or Bare Minerals

I like instablur by the body shop. My skin is fairly oily all over, doesn’t clog my pores either.

I really like the GOSH anti pollution primer. It’s light and has a slight tan tint, I’m pale so not too much, but it evens skin tone and creates a lovely base for make up. Plus pretty inexpensive as they go.

Hourglass mineral veil is brilliant but it makes me break out if I use it too often 😞 it's expensive too. The NYX angel primer is supposed to be a good dupe for it x

OxanaVorontsova · 20/10/2018 21:07

this Urban Decay one is lovely - I have oily T zone too, it really mattifies without drying

YuhBasic · 20/10/2018 21:08

Lanacane anti chafing gel.

FabulousTomatoes · 20/10/2018 21:11

I’m using The Ordinary silicone primer. It’s great. Their silicone foundation is also great! Both cost about a fiver. I’m a sucker for beauty products; my other foundation products are Laura Mercier; but I keep turning to The Ordinary every morning!

Bourjois air mat works quite well on my dry/combo skin

this one

whereisthatpenguinfrom · 20/10/2018 21:19

though possibly too moist if you are oil prone

Avegemitesandwich · 20/10/2018 21:23

I second the Lanacane anti chafe gel (NOT the anti itching cream!)

It's the exact same as any of the other silicone, pore filling primers I have tried, in fact I heard its the same formulation as the Smash box primer.

I think it's really good anyway, and it's cheap.

MissMarplesKnitting · 20/10/2018 21:23

Elf one for spot prone skin. Most of them bung my pores up. This one definitely doesn't give me spots.

Pinkywoo · 20/10/2018 21:26

I like the revlon one, much better than more expensive ones I've tried.

Kay2705 · 20/10/2018 21:26

Try the Matte base primer from Kiko Milano .
