A bit of backstory: I used to have shoulder-length hair, it was a bit wavy but not really curly. It started to get thin (thanks menopause) so I chopped it off drastically, and I've had it really short ever since, usually somewhere between a no.4 and about 3-4cm long. I've never bothered much with a 'hairstyle', even when it was long I just hacked the fringe myself and always let it dry naturally with maybe a bit of mousse or serum to stop the frizzies.
It seems a bit thicker now my hormones have settled down, and I've let it grow out a bit - and it's curly! Much more than I remember. I quite fancy letting it get a bit longer, but I've googled hairstyles and I'm a bit lost. I don't style - I have problems holding my arms up so a long session of blowdrying or tonging or whatever is out of the question.
At the moment I'm chucking on a handful of mousse and just scrunching it, which looks kind of ok, but it really needs a trim now so I'm going to bite the bullet and go to a hairdresser.
What kind of style is good for fine, short-ish curly-ish hair, that won't need much actual styling every day?
