Winter coat

I need a new winter coat, please inspire me! What will everyone by wrapping up in this winter?

(If this has been done already someone please point me in the direction of the thread, I couldn't find any.)

Lots of teddy coats about, realise they aren’t to everyone’s taste but I got this one from Zara and love it. So cosy!

I don't think I could pull that one off

My ultimate would be something wool from Max Mara but I live in S Wales so would wear it probably one week per year in the only dry cold week we have. My current coats are:

• Boden rainyday mac which is about 10 years old
• Navy Boden short down jacket which is about 7 years old this is the nearest current example

Lands End Squall]] Best winter coat I have. it is properly waterproof and warm

• Lands End long down coat - brilliant on a cold dry day but useless in any downpour.

My winter selection:

• Furry leopard print from H&M a few years ago
• A Jack Wolfskin waterproof grey parka with zip-out fleece lining - so versatile
• An All Saints leather biker jacket that I bought second hand from eBay
• A pink faux fur thing that I bought in the sale at H&M earlier this year

Mine are a camel wool wrap coat from Ted Baker,
a white over sized wool coat from Whistles,
a leopard faux fur coat from Whistles (new)
London Parka parka,
Sea salt Janelle,
a faux fur lined leather biker from Allsaints
Two other leather bikers from Allsaints
An oversized tweed mannish coat from Toast.

I do not need any more coats this year (though I might take myself to the Trespass shop they have a sale on and I could do with a waterproof )

I have:
new H&M black twill parka (unworn)
olive Uniqlo short jacket (old but love it)
olive Centigrade (QVC) padded jacket
long brown Centigrade coat ( don't wear much , too warm)
black Centigrade not too heavy
navy boyfroend coat (Matalan) quite smart
M&S leopard (last year) love it

So , yes , I think I need something from Trespass..........

Currently eyeing up a check m and s coat, burgundy Warehouse one and finally a mustard one in new look. All wool as I have nice weatherproof ones from previous years.

All I have is a long heavy camel cost from Zara, which looks really lovely on but quite dressy, and an old so get Barbour coat which is amazing but getting quite scruffy looking and only good for dog walking etc.

I think I need something smart causal that's waterproof and warm with a hood. And I'd love a nice wool cist in forest green or grey.
