prob not the exchange rate means everything is dearer than the uk unless you look for stuff you cant get over here

PerspicaciaTick · 19/10/2018 22:06

Apparently natural brown salt (the sort you bake fish in) is cheap.

Hawkmoth · 19/10/2018 22:08

Marrons Glacees

LunaTheCat · 20/10/2018 03:41

Ohh heaps! I bought a wool scarf there years ago and a blouse. Whenever I wear either I feel instantly chic! Even supermarket [ monoprix) had lovely stuff!

Lonecatwithkitten · 20/10/2018 05:39

All the worth while stuff with rubbish exchange rate is good and not easy to carry.
Mustard Dijon and whole grain
Parminter Sardines

I went to France recently and checked a few prices. Everything was more expensive, even if you take the exchange rate at 1:1

MakeMineTea · 21/10/2018 11:18

A romantic Frenchman? Oh la la!

TheSandwichFairy · 21/10/2018 19:04

Cattier toiletries and skincare, specifically clay masks

DontCallMeCharlotte · 21/10/2018 20:48

All of it.

Cakemonger · 21/10/2018 21:33

French pharmacy brands if you're into skincare. They're in every pharmacy but my fave is City Pharma. Not much cheaper than here but they have bigger ranges/multipacks etc

phoolani · 21/10/2018 22:02

Mixa fake tan. Hint of a tint, found in supermarkets, cheap as chips, better than anything I can find here.
Also Monoprix - their women’s stuff is very hit and miss but you can get some great things, but their kids’ clothes are fantastic.

Blondielongie · 21/10/2018 22:24

Children's clothes from the supermarkets are really nice! If you know any children to buy for.. There's also a bra d called fleurance nature which does kinda nice skincare. But you might be able to get that here.
If I was going I'd get mustard :)

EachandEveryone · 22/10/2018 10:40

Are the supermarkets central though?

Children’s clothes in Monoprix if you like the traditional French child look. There are branches of Monoprix all over Paris.

Bioderma skin care, in pharmacies. This is just the best skincare brand.

Brioche aux pralines GrinGrin from 44, rue cler.

THE BEST THING EVER.

Like ever.
