Anyone seen/used this? Very interested, but at the price would prefer a real review!!

I've seen the you tube reviews and it looks so good, but they're all reviews sponsored by Dyson a I'm sceptical about how good it actually is.

So I'm no use to you OP, but interested to read if anyone has one and whether they like it. I still don't think anything can justify that price tag though. Ridiculous!

I have the hair dryer and love it but £500 for a curler ?
It has attachments- so would it replace my big hair?

Aurea · 19/10/2018 07:26

I may be wrong, but I think you have a period where you can get a full refund if it doesn't suit.

LeeRoar · 19/10/2018 07:41

Seen them using it on This Morning the other day, looked fab when the hairdresser used it on the models. Then Holly asked the models to use it in themselves and it didn't look so easy Confused

MustBeThin · 19/10/2018 07:45

I bought one and so far I love it. Theres a 35 day return period! I've used the brush head to dry my hair straight which took about 10 mins, I don't normally bother blow drying because I've got really long hair and crap coordination when it comes to brushing and drying at the same time. Grin I've used the curler with great results, it lasted hours whereas it falls straight out within an hour if i use a curling wand.

MrsMaryMooFace · 19/10/2018 07:45

I've seen mixed reviews on Facebook style/beauty groups. For some, the curl initially looks great but then doesn't hold

Beerincomechampagnetastes · 19/10/2018 08:04

But if i already have the hairdryer do I need it?
Does one of the attachments work like a babyliss big hair?
Sorry for the repeat question, I’m just not sure I asked coherently last time or this time

MustBeThin · 19/10/2018 09:57

Beer depends what you want it for I suppose, I've not got the big hair myself but presume you have to totally dry your hair before using it? The airwrap curls you hair form damp/wet so cuts down on time really because you aren't having to totally dry it first. Less hassle to blow dry sleek too because you aren't having to use two hands. It has brush attachments so you do it all one handed.

Thank you must Star

For such an expensive item, it seems bonkers that you need to switch barrels (or very complicated moves) to make the curls go different directions

LostInShoebiz · 20/10/2018 15:42

There’s an attachment that looks like the dryer. I’d be interested to know if it could replace a regular dryer. If so, £500 isn’t too bad for a top end dryer, curler and big hair replacement.

MustBeThin · 20/10/2018 16:09

miri I curl each side of my hair away from my face so only need to switch once if I do a side at a time. It takes like one second to take the barrel off and the reason you need to switch barrels is because it sucks your hair around it, it needs to be designed the way it is or it would suck it around. Alternatively to go in a different direction or to get a beach wave rather than a curl you use it as you would a traditional curling wand, hold the barrel facing down and manually wrap it round and dry that way.

Lost it's £400 Smile or £450 for all the attachments. I've not yet used the normal dryer attachment to totally dry my hair but I've used the smoothing brush so it dries while straightening/smoothing and it took 10 mins to dry my long hair.

@MustBeThin- thanks. If the hairdryer works well- I'm pretty much in I reckon! Thanks for the review!
