Victorian prostitute lace-up ankle boots

Reading the thread about tights and white trainers, and the phrase about only prostitutes wearing fish-nets, reminded me I had to ask a question in here.
I love a Victorian prostitute-style lace up ankle book, with the Louis heel (is it a Louis heel?).
I can't seem to find any on sale anywhere, and my last pair have long gone to the great VPLAB graveyard.
Has anyone seen them anywhere?

Seconded. I need some for work party.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 18/10/2018 16:06

Might be an odd suggestion but you might have some luck finding some in some of the alternative style websites, maybe killstar or attitude clothing for example. that style of boot is often seen in goth fashion

Tighnabruaich · 18/10/2018 16:14

OneNighTime good idea, wouldn't have thought of them!

Thank you all. Andtheresaw has come closest, but yes a wee bit too short in the ankle.

And I like a slightly rounder toe, nothing pointy .... going to have to build a time machine ...

Try searching for steampunk

Acrackineverything · 18/10/2018 16:28

Have just been browsing the Lindy Bop website mentioned on another thread and I think they have what you want?

PennyCrayonsCrayon · 18/10/2018 16:29

Try Kate's Clothing. I think you might find something you like there.

irregular choice they also come in green or embroidered with roses...

Amortentia · 18/10/2018 16:32

Have you tried Irregular Choice? They always do a variation of a lace up ankle boot with a round toe. I got a slightly chunkier heeled version of what you are looking for last year in New Look, might be worth looking there too.

Pretty sure M&S have a lace up ankle boot in x

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/10/2018 16:34

I got a pair of really nice (though a tad sleazy) long lace-up boots from Forever 21 .
Non leather (I don't wear leather)

And they have a zip or I'd be too knackered tying the laces to do anything like party .

I might dig them out for our works Christmas meal......

Tighnabruaich · 18/10/2018 16:34

I'm looking at all the suggestions, thank you.

Something like this, but without the lace panels, and just a wee bit longer at the ankle. I can see them in my mind!

Tighnabruaich · 18/10/2018 16:57

Jakethecob those Nu rocks are fabulous, but a tad extreme for my lifestyle! :)

Thanks insancerre, but I'm looking for ones with a Louis heel.
