Microblading?

Thinking of having my eyebrows microbladed in time for my wedding. Just a bit nervous as it's very expensive!

Have you ever had it done and how were the results??

My brows are currently quite a flat straight shape and I'd like some curve to them, that's why I'm considering.

Thanks !

I've had it done, they look fab! You usually need 2 treatments 6 weeks apart.

Do it a good while before the wedding or they will likely be too thick/dark for what you are used to

Love mine. Best thing I ever did.
This was nearly a year ago so I'm going for a top up soon which is £60

Dalmatian that is exactly what I’m looking for - it looks fab. Now please tell me where you had them done, I’d be prepared to travel for those.

Theoretically you could have it done in 7 weeks. You have the first lot, then a minimum of a month to heal and then a top up that should look great after two weeks so it could be done. IRL however good practitioners get booked up a long way ahead. You would also need a patch test which takes another day or two so 7 weeks is probably unrealistic.

What you could do is have the first go before the wedding, then leave the top up until after the honeymoon. As long as you allow three weeks before the wedding day it should be fine. The new shape will be there but might need augmenting with powder and pencil for true perfection.

I had my first lot done in August but delayed the top up until yesterday as I knew I would be in the sun a lot in late September and early October and wanted to allow them to fade before the top up. Although they weren’t perfect during those weeks they were a lot better than they were beforehand.

Let us know where you are geographically and perhaps someone can make a recommendation.

Square I live in Derbyshire but there will be other places closer to where you live im sure

Had mine done and love the results, but then my right eyebrow had all but fallen out so it has given me back an eyebrow, but I would say you are too close to the wedding to get them done.

I recently asked a professional make up artist about this. She does makeup for TV so sees hundreds of TV guests every week close up.

She said that microblading should be avoided because a good job may looks ok to start with but over time it starts to blur and the colour is off and it ends up looking a mess - so that you have to wear eyebrow makeup all the time to cover it and it is not easily corrected by touch ups because the problem is the slight bleeding of the fine lines.

her advice to me was avoid it.
